My little brother is 11 years old. Well, he will tell you that he is 11 and a half … or perhaps even count out the precise fraction.
Regardless.
In the last 4 months, he has turned into a “preteen”. There are now “restrictions” on picture taking, jokes, kisses, high fives, meals, etc.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I love him and he loves me – now I just don’t tell him that when I drop him off for school 🙂 and school started back up again on Tuesday.
Since I’ve become aware that my pre-tirement days are numbered, I’ve been trying to take bunches and bunches of pictures of pretty much anything that qualifies as a “moment” – unfortunately for Jake many of those “moments” revolve around something he is doing – or doing with me.
I wish you could see how far away I had to stand to get this picture – and the amount of cropping it took to look like I was remotely there 🙂
